Why UT: The Impact of the Master of Science in Computer Science Program

“As the Director of Software Development, I can easily implement things I have learned by sharing the information with the people in my department, applying that knowledge to code reviews, and making sure we are producing the product our customers want instead of what we think they need.”

– Wes Tebo, Advanced Micro Solutions, Director of Software Development

“I have been able to apply my new skills in advanced technologies, along with knowing how to better organize projects with a group by having continuous conversations.”

– Lisa Walker, Red Hat, Software Quality Engineer

“After starting my classes, I realized my thought process [at work] had improved. Because I’m keen on learning more about AI, I’ve designed programs and modules for a [work] project using techniques I’ve learned. I also passed my Scrum Master certification after finishing my Advanced Software Engineering class.”

– Nilesh Sarkate, HCA Health Care, Consulting BizTalk Engineer/Tech Lead
